The Beacon
The Great Beacon is the most obvious remnant of the sea monsters Helamakt defeated to create the Tor that Whitewall? stands on. When building Whitewall, Sestarto the Artist found a huge spiral ivory horn of a giant sea monster embedded in the limestone. This horn was excavated and set up on the top of the plateau. Shallow steps were cut into the spiral and at the top a great golden cup was placed in which a mighty bonfire can be lit.
