Mission profile - Lunar Camp outside of Whitewall?, Dark Season 1620
Our agents have uncovered an Orlanthi plot to attack our camp by a sudden devastating strike invoking Varanorlanth's Death Star Beast slaying.
The enemy rite is held in a cave complex on the flank of the Hillback.
Our only chance is to attack through their very element with a flight of courier moonboats covered by wyvern riders and supporting moonbeam fire.
The objective is to place a Lune bound to a moonrock (shredded walktapus, gorp-jar, ...) in the central shaft leading to the hidden altar while the enemy rite is gathering power, and draw that power inside rather than directed at our camp. We have developed a flight plan for approach to the altar using the cover from various collapsed caves on that flank of the hill. We expect enemy flyers and missile forces along the flight path, and our weather forecast speaks of a huge cyclone brewing over that hillside, so stay low unless you want to face being drifted away.
This is of course a weak attempt to get some Starwars space combat into the siege. IMO it should be behind the hill, before the Death Star Beast comes into range... <Joerg>
