1619

Earth Season

Disorder Week

<John> Lunar supply problems increase. Hunger in the camps.

Harmony Week

Drowning of the Concubines?: The Kultain release the Chorms at Chorms Ford and drown the supply train and the concubines of the Lunar Priests before Whitewall.

Death Week

First Major Assault / Champions Battle

<Donald> Two hundred Shargashi create a gateway from hell into the citadel to coincide with an assault on Tarkalor's Gate?. After desperate fighting Humatki sever the gateway by killing the Shargashi leader. Many casualties among the Humatki but all the Shargashi killed or sent back to hell.

<guy>There is a strong possibility that the Humakti in question were members of the Herewardi Temple. The temple warband suffered about 75% fatalities and lost one of their three standards, a terrible humiliation despite the desperate success of their action. The survivors pull out of Whitewall? shortly after. </guy> <Jane>but, possibly due to taking time for their wounded to recover, stay long enough that at least some (PCs!) were present for the BatBlat.</Jane>

<John> Immediately after, the Champions's Battles begin. Over seven days, seven champions from each side fight seven hero battles. There are seven deaths.

Fertility Week

Champions battle continues.

Stasis Week

Some time around this Karse falls. Fazzur stays there for long enough to secure the sea port.

Movement Week

Kallyr arrives.

Illusion Week

Truth Week

First moonboats arrive and reestablish supply chain to plateau.

<Joerg> I second the sentiment that moon boats aren't the optimum for bulk transport, and suggest that Fazzur manages to set up a supply line from Karse via Smithstone. This also brings back some of the mobile Tarshite and Cavalry Corps forces which then can take care of the Kultain situation (and dissolution). </Joerg>

<Nick> Hang on a moment -- moonboats were first introduced in White Bear & Red Moon as the means by which the Empire could rapidly redeploy its armies. I agree they aren't "optimum" -- you'd always prefer to use something else, esp. outside the Glowline -- but they would certainly be usable for bulk transport, if the situation required this. Also, given Tatius' penchant for overwhelming magical superiority, I can see him using them "just because he can." Which is to say, Truth Week 1619 sounds too early to be using moonboats for routine supplies, but they could certainly be used in this role later on, e.g. after Fire Season 1620. </Nick>

<Joerg> How about using the moonboats for bringing in magical supplies? </Joerg>
