Enfrew was king of the Volsaxi when Tarkalor lived among them (i.e. around 1550). He failed to keep the Night Jumpers of the Kurtali Clan? from raiding the Kitori? under King Vurgunzol.

One theory places this very early in the Kitori War?, basically provoking the conflict.

The other theory places this event after the coalition under Tarkalor had overcome the Kitori, and rewards were allotted to the various clans. The Kurtali Night Jumpers would not cease their raids, and were severed from their tribe.
