The next day an assault by dragonewts? slew most of the defenders, but spared most of the inhabitants. The city was not sacked. Fazzur was welcomed by the populace. The army wintered, active only in vigorous defense against raiders from Hendrikiland?. By the next spring the port was fully operational."
