The Night Jumpers are a local heroband of some renown who were instrumental in freeing the land during the Kitori War? about 70 years ago. They appear to worship Vingkot the Champion as their guardian.

History:

The Night Jumpers were a band of raiders originally from the Kurtali Clan? who knew the feat of Nightjumping (Thunder Rebels: Vingkot the Champion subcult of Orlanth Adventurous) and used it for their raids on the Kitori when Enfrew was King of the Volsaxi and young Tarkalor stayed with them.

They started their raids from Orlanth's Lone Rock?.

The Kurtali Clan? refused to stop their raids, and was excluded from the protection offered by the Volsaxi tribe through King Enfrew.

<Joerg> This sounds like the clan was thrown out of the tribe. Speculation is that the Kurtali Clan were the founders or original leaders of the Curtali Tribe, and that the Curtali tribe severed their relation to them. Another theory makes the Kurtali Clan effectively synonymous with the heroband. </Joerg>
