<from the database> Panaxles the Architect was a Silver Age Hero from Esrolia who had created numerous architectural marvels, including the Stone Ring, the Light House, and the Dam which protects Esrolia from the Necropolis of the Dead. He often contested with Sestarto of the Heortlings, and always won, until the time when Sestarto constructed the Needle (Ivory Plinth). In a rage, Panaxles killed the artist, and then himself.
<Joerg> This info is from Shannon Appel's History of the Kingdom of Night part 1, and is dated to the era before the Dawn. Jeff's Whitewall backstory has Whitewall constructed after the Dawn, as the rival project for the Lighthouse in Caladraland.
I see a slight chronological problem with this approach since the construction of the Needle clearly predates the Dawn - it is listed as the Dawn survival site of the Aramites. If we have Panaxles' Rage killing connected to the judgement on the Needle (and Panaxles' unknown counter-project), then either are unavailable after the Dawn.
I see two possible solutions keeping Sestarto as the builder of Whitewall: the weaker one is to postdate the judgement of the Needle after the Dawn, or having the Aramites survive at the site where the Needle was under construction. The other is to have Whitewall's construction completed in the Silver Age, before the Dawn. </Joerg>
