Rob's campaign - The Chosen Ones Saga
(Which I hope he will take over describing himself, but I'm giving him a start - Jane)
Set in the early days of the siege, the players first came to WW bearing news of the proposed RM temple in Sartar and the fact that the Bat was due. They then helped make the decision to stay and fight, blatted the Bat (with a bit of help), and one of their number somehow became Steward of WW while Broyan was indisposed. The person who manipulated them into this (red hair, starts with a K) may have thought they were going to be puppets, but seems to have picked the wrong bunch for that. They've learnt to manipulate people (including her) with an alacrity that's a delight to behold.
Bits I have documented (this is a work in progress):
- NPCs and an example of how to have fun with local politics including an interesting solution to the power vacuum after Broyan gets mind-blasted.
- Tothus Seven-Seventh - a Lunar who's just infiltrated the place and got Tarkalor's Gate open
- Scenario? - Including an interesting murder case to play detectives on
- The BatBlat? - description of the Howdah
- Broyan's speech to inspire the Orlanthi as they prepare to meet the Bat(adapted from Shakespeare)
- Why would anyone stay in Whitewall to be trapped there by the Lunar Army....
Hi Jane,
Very well summarised. I have my campaign notes, written in saga-ish style to add - let me know how I can do that.
<Jane>Instructions sent by email, and I'll just test them out with one writeup he sent me... or maybe all the ones I've got, having seen how easy it is...

Over the next couple of months I will be posting the details of who, why, what and a brief description of the high & mighty and my thoughts on their motivations, which I used when portraying them to the players. Needless to say its a case of 'take what's there, stick it on the potters wheel and shape it to your game with (in my case) plenty more clay and water!
Special thanks to Jane for help and advice, especially with Vingans and Kallyr's party; and Patrik Sandberg who gave us the perfect motivation for a bunch of home loving Heortlings to get involved! The biggest thanks goes to the Whitewall groups and wiki, without which we would never have had the opportunity to visit the last city of the Orlanthi at all!
Regards
Rob
