"In 1619 the Lunar armies marched southward. The first opponent was the army of Volsaxland, which was driven into the walls of Whitewall. Jorkandros Blinder, of the Untarl family of Yuthuppa, was given command of the siege. The rest of the army pushed on, assaulted Smithstone, then marched down river to Karse. An assault failed, and they laid siege to Karse. After some weeks, a segment of the army (<Joerg:> units from Caladraland) escaped by ship, leaving only the locals to defend. The next day an assault by dragonewts? slew most of the defenders, but spared most of the inhabitants. The city was not sacked. Fazzur was welcomed by the populace. The army wintered, active only in vigorous defense against raiders from Hendrikiland?. By the next spring the port was fully operational."

Fazzur cuts off Karse from the north, but fails to push to the sea. Siege of Karse begins.
And the Fall some 10 weeks later in Stasis Week of Earth Season, 1619
Some time around this Karse falls. Fazzur stays there for long enough to secure the sea port.
Is 10 weeks too long? Or does he go at the walls, not make much progress, and then has to send to King Moirades? to get dragonewts and that is what takes up so much time?
Just a note, by the CHDP timeline, the port reopens sometime in Sea Season 1620 <LC>
